Centerpieces

Bridal theme and style, reception site decor, season of the year and budget are all considerations in planning table arrangements. Will your guests be dining under a tent in the middle of July or sipping champagne in December at an upscale hotel? A height guideline for centerpieces is less than 12" for low designs. Tall designs should be over the head height of the seated guests to allow for conversation and seeing to the other side of the table. Centerpieces add impact and interest to a reception site and need not be large to be effective. A tall glass vase with 5 stems of white dendrobium orchids or pink Oriental lilies will lend elegance to a formal site. Mason jars of mini sunflowers and daisies will decorate an outdoor site with color and vitality. The use of mirror rounds or squares, colored marbles or sea glass and votives or tea lights can further accent your centerpiece choice.
